2005 Auctmarts Fairings Review

2005 Auctmarts Fairings Review

Hate to inform you but Auctmart and Motofansclub is the same company diff bussiness name so they double their business for such issues like yours, not happy with one, ppl go to the other.

Anyhow as everyone else states, you get whay you pay for $600 gets you a decent kit, i had the motofans kit.

Would i buy again, yes cause i know its a $600 kit. and that service wise they were good, offered a discount cause of the yellowing, when i had a solo cowl come flying off they repainted it for me at a very good price So now im just awaiting to see what the New moto gp Honda team, more so stoners design is. If its not the same old repsol design then i will be getting that fingers crossed.

When you buy a cheap diamond to look like a tiffany diamond what would you expect??

Good luck with the fitment, i did a guide on it on here, look it up if you want some pointers, and into what to buy for the install as its not so simple and not all parts should/could be reused. So be prepared.

If I’m not mistaken Delkevic is a USA company in Colorado that gets there products from CHINA. I’m pretty sure I have read on here that people ordered these Delkevic Kits that are a little more expensive $560.00 + and when they get there Box it has Chinese Marking on it. Pretty sure all these aftermarket kits ALL come from China.

I had and Auctmarts Kit that I recently sold to another member on here. It fit perfectly fine, paint looks nice, only issue I ever had was (1) tab in the front cowl coming off. (just JB Welded it back on)

I just ordered a Motofansclub Kit last week. Waiting for it to arrive.

Have you ever thought that the few random people who have had bad experiences with these Aftermarket Fairings are not Mechanically inclined.? Or have no clue how to install these properly.? extreme fairings review I mean it took TIME to get everything to line up correctly but it all fits great. I think the people that claim bad TERRIBLE Fitment just don’t have the patience or skill to get them to fit right. For $500 you get what you pay for and Ive never had a problem.

Also MotofansClub is using some type of Injection Moulding now. All the mounting tabs are built into the Fairings and not just Plastic Welded on after the fact. I will let everyone know how they fit when they come in. I also have a Product Review Thread about my Fairings.

GOOD LUCK WITH YOURS MAN!! Def get some pictures up here with them installed.

I have installed several sets of these aftermarket fairings for customers who either wrecked their bike or just wanted a different paint scheme. I am pretty anal about final product so it usually takes me about 4 8 hours billable time to get them fitted depending on overall quality of the kit. I usually try to explain to them before purchasing that some of their savings will be chewed up in labor if they want them to look right installed. Considering what new Honda fairings cost and what a quality paint job costs on Honda fairings the customer typically still comes out on top going with one of these kits.

Bike looks good on the lift dude. If your mechanic made the right adjustments they should give you a few years of good service.

Yes, i am aware Delkevic has their stuff made in China. Nothing wrong with Chinese per se. It’s just that the Chinese Ebay sellers INVARIABLY sell non injection molded junk. Delkevic is having someone in China make fairings vis injection mold. Big difference in quality.

If you[‚re happy with your Auctmart experience I’m happy for you. I’m just attempting to warn folks who are thinking of spending their hard earned money on Ebay fairings that IMHO, and based on buying 3 different sets from 3 different sellers Auctmart, Motofansclub and somebody else I’ve gotten junk each time. The only other person I know personally who has bought Auctmart fairings has had a similar experience to me broken tabs and stress cracks within less than a year.
